Copic Colouring Video – Hair – Featuring Mo Manning’s “Kissy”

Firstly, a big thank you to all of you who left such lovely comments on my first Copic colouring video on Sunday!  Hugely appreciated.

In future, I will try and add audio, but for now I have a couple more videos to share featuring the same image.  These were all shot in December, so please bear with me on the audio!  In the meantime, the Copic colours used are captioned at each stage, and the videos are available in HD so you can get a clear view of how I colour.

This second video shows how I coloured the hair on Mo Manning’s “Kissy” for my Thanks Bunches card.  As a little bonus, you can also see how I coloured the crown.

As you will see, this time I used my mid-tone first, rather than colouring from dark to light.  My starting colour very much depends on the colours I’m using, and the effect I want to achieve – in this case I wanted a soft look, with some texture and depth.

The completed image:

Stamping Bella - Mo Manning - Kissy available at www.quixoticpaperie.co.uk

You can find the rubber stamp in the UK at www.quixoticpaperie.co.uk or in Canada direct from www.stampingbella.com.

The digital image is available from Mo Manning’s store www.digitalpenciltoo.com.

Cardstock used is Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Super Smooth.

If you have any questions at all, feel free to ask away in the comments section here and I will do my best to answer them! I hope you enjoy the video and find it useful – if you do, I’d love to hear from you.

TFS Elaine! I’ve always admired your gorgeous coloring and it’s wonderful to be able to watch you. Will you be showing us how you colored her dress?

Another fantastic tutorial, Elaine! It all seems so easy and so natural, when YOU are the one colouring:-)… Just love how you have coloured the hair! Thank you very much again for sharing with us! Hugs Delphine xx
