When Tangii emailed me last week to ask if I’d join in with today’s special event, I didn’t hesitate to say YES! Today is Katie Cotton‘s birthday, and we’re having a little hop to celebrate!

Over the past couple of years I have had the pleasure of working with Katie as a stockist for her fantastic stamp line – Paper Makeup Stamps – and also of getting to know her personally. Katie is a fantastic lady with many talents, and I wish her an equally fantastic birthday!
The Paper Makeup Stamps range is among my favourites, and today I’ve combined a couple of the fantastic Beautiful Day Fairies stamps with another favourite – Make it Crafty. Now that I’ve reduced my design team commitments (as sad as I was to do so), I’m looking forward to being able to create more cards like this, featuring various brands and forming fun scenes!
I think you can probably tell that I had a LOT of fun colouring this scene up.

Fantastic Elaine (as usual)! Can you tell me how you achieved the shadow on the path under the fairies? Did you just use darker E’s?

Your coloring is fantastic! The grass looks so softly textured I want to go lay down on it, and the texture of the path and shadows is great! Love the way you have masked everything into one scene, fun! GREAT project!
