It’s time for Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps release previews!  September has certainly come around quickly, and now the children are back at school and the long summer holidays are over I’m sure you’re starting to think about Christmas projects.  I’ve got to admit, I usually leave it till the last minute, however this year I am trying to get ahead and get organised in everything, including my festive projects.  This release has been the perfect opportunity for me to get a headstart on Christmas cards!

Today is the first day of previews for the September 2012 release, and the Krafty Girls are showing off the new HOLIDAY TRINKETS stamp set.  Love these sentiments, they are so useful for embellishing detailed cards/projects AND for more clean and simple makes.  They fit beautifully in your circle punches/dies.

Make sure that you stop by all of the Krafty Girls’ blogs today and leave a comment to be in with the chance of winning this new set.  See the Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps Blog for full details.  The list of blogs can be found by clicking the blue frog at the end of this post.

The new stamp release will be available on Sunday 16th September from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps direct OR for those of you in the UK/Europe from me at Quixotic Paperie!

So, here is the card I will be sending to most of the people on my list this year.  I love it!

One thing I love is seeing a set of cards all laid out.  It just looks so satisfying!

I stamped the sentiment and cut it out using a small Spellbinders Nestabilities circle die, then layered with a scalloped circle also cut using a Spellbinders die.  I mounted this on the green label shape cut using one of the MFT Die-Namics Designer Labels 3 STAX dies.  I used an old Cuttlebug embossing folder to create the red layer – it has been a LONG time since I used an embossing folder!  To create the set I prepared all of the stamping and diecuts/embossed layers in one batch, and then assembled them all.

That’s it!  I hope you’ve enjoyed checking out today’s card.  Make sure you stop by the rest of the Krafty Girls’ blogs and leave a comment to be in with a chance of winning!  You can see the full list of blogs by clicking on the blue frog below.
