I was hoping to post a fun and spooky Halloween card today, but unfortunately (as seems to be typical at this time of year) I simply ran short on time.  So, I wish you a spooktacular Halloween, but today I’m going to share something completely non-spooky!

Before I share, I’d like to send my very best wishes to all my friends in the US who have been affected by the storm.  I’ve been following the news reports over here, and have been hoping that you all stay safe.

So, today’s card has been “in the works” for a few weeks.  That is to say, I came up with the idea and it has taken me a few weeks to actually sit down and make it. 😉

You may spot that I have once again used that old favourite – Stamping Bella Polaroid Frame stamp (also available in the UK at Quixotic Paperie).  I masked and stamped my Uptown Girls – Lolly, Quinn and Pippa (also available in the UK at Quixotic Paperie) in the frame and cut the inner portion of the frame out.

Cool, huh?  Love the sketchy look of the frame.  I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Make it Colour Blending Card and coloured with a combination of ShinHan Touch Twin Markers and Copics.

I used some Tim Holtz chit-chat stickers and the MFT High Rise Alphabet Lower Case die set to create the sentiment.  The designer paper is from an older My Mind’s Eye paper pack.

What do you think? I love how it turned out, which is actually slightly different from how I first saw it in my head.

Anyway, the dog has been walked, work has been done, chores have been done (sort of), the weather is dismal, and I’ve got colouring to get done!  Tonight I plan on making some popcorn and watching a scary film (or two).
