You may have heard that there’s a new Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps release out now.  If not, time to get up to speed, and what better way than to join in with the release day hop?

Before I tell you all about the release, I have some news.  I’ve been lucky enough to have been a Krafty Girl right from the start, and it has been wonderful sharing Kimmie’s krafty journey with her awesome stamp company.  It has been a real pleasure to work with Kimmie and all the Krafty Girls, so it was a tough decision to make, but the time has come for me to step down and take a breather.  Today’s card is my last as a Krafty Girl, although it certainly won’t be my last KKS card!  Thanks for having me Kimmie, it has been a blast.

*sniffle*

This month’s release is filled with fun.  There are some brilliant literary characters from Annie Rodrigue, more cuties from Cheryl Alger and Emilie Goulet, plus trinkets and more!

The stamps are now available direct from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps in Canada,
and also from me in the UK at Quixotic Paperie!

On my card today you can see the awesome Sherlock Holmes image illustrated by Annie Rodrigue.  I thoroughly enjoyed colouring him, and he is perfect for a male card or indeed a card for any fan of Sherlock Holmes!

He of course, comes with the perfect sentiment, which I have used part of here.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Make it Colour Blending Card and coloured with a combination of ShinHan Touch Twin Markers and Copic Markers.
