I’ve been playing with those awesome new Susana Loves Stamps mixed media stamps again! Today’s tag perfectly expresses how I am feeling about exploring mixed media at the moment.

Aren’t those colours gorgeous? Just looking at this tag makes me happy, even though I’m not exactly a “pink” girl – this is just about the right amount of pink for me. The blue-green is very much me!

The stamp is one of the beautiful silhouettes from the latest Susana Loves Stamps release, and she comes in either the “Solid Blank Canvas & Leap of Faith” two stamp set, or in the larger extra value “Complete Blank Canvas #2 Collection” set.

US Readers can of course find the Susana Loves Stamps range at Susana’s Custom Art & Card Design in the US, along with many of the other goodies I have used.

I stamped the silhouette in black Archival Ink on top of my tag background, which was created using Art Anthology Colorations Mist and Distress Ink through a Studio Calico stencil.

The butterfly swarm is a Memory Box stamp (I have a fixation with butterflies at the moment).  Once all the stamping was done, I sprayed my tag with some fixative before covering in Glimmer Mist for some gorgeous sparkle.

The word “JOY” was created using some adhesive backed Scrabble tile letters I had in my stash, which I re-coloured with Distress Ink.  I finished off with some seam binding which I coloured with Distress Ink.

That’s it for today!  Thanks for stopping by, and don’t forget – I’d love to hear from you if you have the time to leave a comment. 🙂
