Tiddly Inks - Chloe & Peeps - Marker Geek

We still have things to sort out here in the new house, and we’re waiting for new furniture to be delivered so we can get fully unpacked and organised. As you can imagine my bank account is now looking very clean and tidy, even if nothing else is! Hah!

If you’re following me on Facebook, you will be aware that I am back in full swing as far as colouring goes. I’ve been colouring lots of Stamping Bella images for their new website and packaging, and an imminent release. So keep your eyes peeled for all that excitement!

I’m also working on something fun and hopefully informative for you featuring the Make it Crafty Fiery Baby Dragon rubber stamp, exclusively available at my store Quixotic Paperie. Again, watch this space.

Today I’d like to share a card I made a while ago, which was featured in Papercraft Essentials Magazine Issue 107 earlier this year.

Tiddly Inks - Chloe & Peeps - Marker Geek

I used the adorable Tiddly Inks clear stamp set – Chloe & Peeps which is available along with a fantastic range of other Tiddly Inks clear stamps at my online store Quixotic Paperie. I stamped Chloe on my favourite Make it Colour Blending Card and coloured with Copic markers.

The sentiments were stamped and embossed on the background with white embossing powder. I combined a sentiment from a different Tiddly Inks stamp set with an alphabet stamp set from Mama Elephant.

I had a lot of fun creating this card and the others featured in the same issue, as I got messy and created my own background papers using Distress Inks. I love to create my own backgrounds using inks and other mediums, as I prefer to colour my images without thinking about the papers I’ll be using. Creating my own backgrounds makes it easier to create something that coordinates.

Thank you for stopping by! I’ll be back again soon with some more crafty fun to share. 🙂
