Make it Crafty - Haunted House & Mini MonstaBoyz Scene - www.markergeek.com

I’m a firm believer in giving spooky images the opportunity to shine for all sorts of occasions, not just Halloween. Since it was Paul’s birthday this week I decided I’d create a fun spooky scene card for him. I love to create scenes with stamps and as it had been a while since I last created one, this was a lot of fun.

I’ve added a handy Copic Colour Palette at the end of my post for you, showing the markers I used on my scene card.

Please excuse the photo. I may have found my crafty mojo since the move, but my photography mojo is off on vacation!

The Details:

I created a fun scene using some of my favourite Make it Crafty stamps. These images are available both in rubber and digital versions. I stock Make it Crafty rubber stamps in my online store Quixotic Paperie. Digital stamps are available direct from Make it Crafty.

Stamps used: Make it Crafty Haunted House – Make it Crafty Mini MonstaBoyz set – Tiddly Inks Wicked Birthday (sentiment)

My scene was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink (the characters) and Memento London Fog ink (the house) on my favourite Make it Colour Blending Card before being coloured using Copic markers. Before colouring the images, I masked them and airbrushed the background using Copics. Details were added to the background using the colourless blender marker after I finished colouring the scene.

The sentiment was stamped directly on to the background with Versamark ink and embossed with Ranger Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder.

The card is approximately A5 size and is top folding.
