As soon as I saw the Mama Elephant “Peek a Frame” die set I knew I wanted to create a fun card using the Make it Crafty Mini MonstaBoyz and Mini Monstagalz stamps. It turned out better than I envisaged, and is so cute I could burst!

Eeek!

The Details:

I stamped the Mini MonstaBoyz and Mini MonstaGalz using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on my favourite Make it Colour Blending Card before colouring using Copic markers.

Make it Crafty rubber stamps are available from my UK based online store Quixotic Paperie. I ship worldwide.

Stamps I used: Make it Crafty Mini MonstaBoyz – Make it Crafty Mini MonstaGalz

I used the Mama Elephant Peek A Frame die set (Tara at Make the Day Special stocks Mama Elephant dies in the UK) nested to cut from black and orange cardstock, then pieced it all together to create one layer. I then took a Penny Black word die from the Eeeek! set and cut it twice: once from my completed piece and once from a piece of Make it Colour Blending card coloured with green Copics. I removed the die cut word from my black/orange piece and replaced it with the green version. Jennifer McGuire has some videos showing how to do this “inlaid diecutting” technique. The card base was made from pearlescent white card, the edges of which I coloured with Copics to coordinate with the rest of the card.
