Waltzing Mouse Stamps - Boo & Friends Halloween Cards - www.markergeek.com

Sometimes (okay, fairly often) I see a stamp set I just cannot resist, and I will admit I am a total sucker for Halloween stamps. Waltzing Mouse Stamps recently released some great Halloween stamp sets, which somehow found their way in to my shopping basket. 😉

I thought it would be fun to do a little mini-tutorial on how I coloured these sweet little ghost stamps with Copic markers for my Halloween cards. You will find it towards the end of this blog post as a pinnable image!

The Halloween Cards:

Meet Boo and Friends!

Totally adorable, no? I couldn’t stop at just one card, I had to colour up all of Boo’s friends and create a set.

The adorable Boo and Friends images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on my favourite Make it Colour Blending Card before being coloured using Copic markers, cut out and popped up on foam pads. Each card is approximately 14cm square (top-folding).

I die-cut circles from Make it Colour Blending Card using a Spellbinders Nestabilities die and airbrushed them with Copic markers. When airbrushing I left the paper in the die to act as a mask and leave a white border which I then covered with a Wink of Stella pen to add some sparkle.

The sentiments from the WMS Peek a Boo set were stamped using Versamark Ink and then embossed with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder.

I’ve entered my little Halloween card set over at the Waltzingmouse Fanatics Challenge blog where the current challenge is “Anything Goes”.
