Stamping Bella - Mo Manning Snow Pals Card & Video - www.markergeek.com

In 2012 I created a fun colouring tutorial for Some Odd Girl Stamps featuring their Winter Friends clear stamp set. I thought now would be a good time to repost that information along with some new inspiration. This time I’ve created a card and video featuring one of the new Mo Manning for Stamping Bella stamps.

So, if you’re looking for inspiration on creating beautiful backgrounds for Christmas and other winter cards using your markers keep reading!

The Card:

The Details:

Mo Manning for Stamping Bella “Snow Pals” was stamped on my favourite Make it Colour Blending Card before being coloured using Copic markers.

UK/Europe Readers: Mo Manning for Stamping Bella Snow Pals is available at Quixotic Paperie
US/Canada Readers: Mo Manning for Stamping Bella Snow Pals is available direct from Stamping Bella (shipping is now from the US).

I die cut the frame from pearlescent white card using a Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities Circle die. The image was die cut using the same size circle and inlaid into the frame. I created the card base from the same pearlescent card which I then coloured with a Copic marker to coordinate with my image. I die cut the sentiment from white pearlescent card using a Penny Black die set (Joyous Wishes #51-058), coloured it with a Copic marker and glued directly to the card front. That’s it! A fun and festive Christmas card that will be easy to mail.

Copic Markers used for the background: B32,BV02,BG34,B24,B26,B37

S.O.G Winter Friends Card & Step by Step Background Colouring

This is the original step by step I created back in 2012. I’ve edited and revamped it but the info and pics are the same. This step by step was done using ShinHan Touch Twin Markers but the same technique applies to other alcohol based markers, which you can see in the new video I have created for this post and embedded/linked above.
