Waffle:

If this is the first time you’re visiting me you may not be aware that I have been participating in The Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring Challenge! This month I have been colouring a different The Greeting Farm stamp each day as a little personal twist on Kathy Racoosin’s 30 Day Colouring Challenge. You can find all of my 30 Day Colouring Challenge posts HERE. If you’re looking for Copic colour combo inspiration you should definitely take a look as each post includes a Copic Marker Colour Palette to go with the image. The challenge is just about over, but the inspiration will of course remain for you to browse!

I’ll be back later today with my 30 Day Colouring Challenge post, so make sure you check in again for more colouring inspiration and another Copic Marker Colour Palette.

Today’s card was created for my youngest niece who turned one back in April. I had so much fun putting together a cute little scene using stamps and die cuts.

The Details:

I used the bunny stamp from the Mama Elephant Up & Away Stamp set, which is available here in the UK from the lovely Tara at Make the Day Special. I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Make it Colour Blending Card ready to colour with my Copic markers (I sell this paper here on the blog. It is my favourite for colouring with alcohol based markers. If you haven’t tried it yet, I’ve put up some small tester packs so you can try it out before investing in a full pack.).

The number balloon was die cut from Make it Colour Blending Card using an Avery Elle die set – Numbered Balloons (there is also a coordinating clear stamp set available). Again, I purchased mine from Tara at Make the Day Special here in the UK. The letters were die cut using an old Quickutz alphabet die set. I coloured the balloon and letters using Copic markers.

I used a piece of twine coloured with a black Copic marker to create the balloon string.

I die cut some textured Core’dinations cardstock using a Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle die together with an MFT Dienamics Stitched Speech Bubble die to create the sky and hill. I then used the clouds from a Wplus9 die set – Sending Sunshine (coordinating stamp set also available). Lawn Fawn and Wplus9 dies and stamps are also available from Tara at Make the Day Special.
