Stamping Bella CardMaker Magazine Blog Hop Tiny Townie Amanda is Awesome Card - www.markergeek.com

Read on to see my card for today’s Stamping Bella and CardMaker Magazine blog hop.

CardMaker Magazine Blog Hop The Scoop:

The Bellariffic Babes are joining the CardMaker magazine designers for a fun blog hop today to show off the fantastic Stamping Bella range of stamps. I’ve got a fun little clean and simple (CAS) card to share with you featuring one of the adorable new Tiny Townie stamps.

If you want to keep an eye on what I’m colouring on a daily(ish) basis, follow me over on Instagram where I share frequent peeks at the colouring I’m doing along with other day to day snaps.

The Clean and Simple Card:

Stamp & Other Details:

The stamp featured on today’s card is the adorable Stamping Bella Tiny Townie – Amanda is Awesome. The stamp comes with a fun sentiment which reads “I miss you. But not as much as you probably miss me. I’m pretty awesome.”. I wasn’t going for humour with my card, so I chose to create my own sentiment with a combination of stamps and a word die.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Make it Colour Blending Card (my favourite for colouring with Copic and other alcohol based markers) before colouring with Copic Markers.

I created a frame for my image using two dies from the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangles and Small Stitched Rectangles die sets.

Using Make it Colour Blending card together with Stick It! Die Cut Adhesive I die cut a few of the “Amazing” words and layered them to create a nice sturdy element for my card. I love doing this, it is worth the extra effort for the additional impact it gives. I then coloured the finished element with my Copic markers to coordinate with the image.

I create my own card blanks using a Fiskars High Precision Personal Paper Trimmer *, a Martha Stewart Scoring Board * and bone folder * (I don’t like the plastic scoring tools, I use a bone folder and have had mine for several years).
