Waffle:

Today I’m sharing the last of my little series of “cloudy sky background” cards, featuring a simply Copic cloudy sky background which I shared a step by step tutorial for earlier in the week. Click the banner below to be taken to that post!

Stamp & Other Details:

This lovely stamped image is an older release from the Stamping Bella Uptown Girl collection – Uptown Girls Belinda & Bernadette Bench Buddies. They come with a sentiment which reads “it’s so nice having a friend like you by my side”.

US and International readers: you can find Uptown Girls Belinda & Bernadette Bench Buddies and the rest of the range direct at Stamping Bella (shipping is from the US).

UK/European readers: you can now find the latest Stamping Bella releases at Make the Day Special here in the UK. I highly recommend Tara’s store for the speedy dispatch and awesome customer service. Tara doesn’t currently have Belinda & Bernadette in stock, so get in touch via the store if you’d like her to add her to a future delivery!

I stamped this image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Make it Colour Blending Card (my favourite for colouring with Copic and other alcohol based markers).

I kept the card very simple and simply trimmed the image using my Fiskars High Precision Personal Paper Trimmer * and created a mat layer by trimming some white MiC card and colouring it with a Copic marker (you can see how I do this HERE). The card is A6 sized. I create my own card blanks using a Martha Stewart Scoring Board * and bone folder * (I don’t like the plastic scoring tools, I use a bone folder and have had mine for several years).

Copic Colouring Information:

If you want to find out the details of the Copic markers I used to colour this particular image, when you purchase the stamp from Stamping Bella or any retailer you can get a free Colour Map with all the marker details broken down for you. These are available for all of the newest images, and many of the older ones too.
