Read on to see my card for today featuring a fun Stampotique image with a full Copic Marker Colour Palette.

Waffle:

Before I share my card for today I want to make sure you’re keeping up with the Stamping Bella release previews! It won’t be long now until the stamps are released, so make sure you’ve popped along to the Stamping Bella blog and left comments on the preview posts to be in with a chance of winning some of the new goodies!

The Card:

Stamp & Other Details:

As I mentioned in my previous Stampotique related blog post, the stamp featured on my card today has the honour (along with the rest of my Stampotique collection) of being one of the very few wood mounted stamps I still own! This one is Stampotique Originals – Line-Up by Kira Nichols.

UK readers: I buy my Stampotique Originals stamps from Art From The Heart here in the UK. I can recommend the service from AFTH, having been a happy customer for quite some time!

After colouring the little scene I decided to keep the card clean and simple, so I simply added a little “Hello” sentiment with a stamp from the Wplus9 Bubble Talk stamp set and created a sturdy frame for the image by layering up an MFT Die-Namics Stitched Rectangle Frame die cut.

I create my own card blanks using a Fiskars High Precision Personal Paper Trimmer *, a Martha Stewart Scoring Board * and bone folder * (I don’t like the plastic scoring tools, I use a bone folder and have had mine for several years).

Copic Colouring Tutorial:

Last month I posted a fun little step by step tutorial showing you how to create a simple cloudy sky background. Click the banner below to be taken to that post! I used the same method to create the background in today’s card.
