Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Peyton:

The Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Peyton Loves to Pretend stamp set was released in early 2016, and obviously is perfect for Spring and Easter cards and other paper-crafts. Like many Stamping Bella stamps however, I think Peyton is pretty great all year round. Chicks aren’t just for Easter, people!

I love this stamp set. Those chicks… My favourite is the one “face-palming” or more accurately “face-winging”. This isn’t the first time he’s seen this, and he didn’t care for it then either. So embarrassing. Peyton on the other hand, she couldn’t care a stuff. She thinks she looks AWESOME, so whatever, deal with it.

The best thing? This is a set of four stamps. You get Peyton, the chick on the left, the group of three on the right and the sentiment all as separate stamps. So you can easily take those chicks and use them on their own, or with other stamps in your collection. That chick with his wings on his “hips”? He can be fed up with absolutely anyone (and I get the feeling he is, regularly). There is also a set of Cut It Out Dies available for this stamp set.

If you own the stamp set, or if you purchase it after reading this post, you can obtain a free Copic Colour Map to go along with it, showing all the Copic marker colours I used on the image. Find out how HERE.

While Peyton comes in a set with a sentiment (which perfectly expresses the feelings of some of the “real” chicks in the set), I decided to mix it up and use another stamp from my stash that worked perfectly for a fun and encouraging card.

Go on. Go and be your own brand of awesome! 😉

The image was coloured with Copic Markers UK link*/US link* on Make it Colour Blending Card.

The sentiment is from the Mama Elephant Splendid clear stamp set, stamped with Ranger Archival ink in Jet Black UK link* / US link*. I used my MISTI stamp tool UK link* / US link* to position and stamp on my die cut image layer.

The MISTI is invaluable for me for this, because I have a tendency to colour first, think card later! Also, I’m not the world’s greatest stamper in terms of positioning and achieving a perfect impression – the MISTI helps with both of those challenges.

The patterned paper is from a digital paper pack printed on cardstock using my CANON Pixma printer */US link*.

The image and mat layers were die cut using Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangles dies sets. Lawn Fawn Dies UK link*/Lawn Fawn dies US link*
