I’ve got a few Christmas bits and pieces to share that I just didn’t get round to posting before Christmas. My apologies if you’re sick of seeing festive makes, bear with me, there are just a few left to share! Today I wanted to share what turned out to be one of my favourites in December.

Marker Geek: Purple Onion Designs Falala Christmas Card

Purple Onion Designs Card:

For a while I’ve been in love with Stacey Yacula’s artwork. She has such a soft, sweet, characterful style. I had a few of her stamps from Purple Onion Designs in my collection, but hadn’t indulged myself with too many. That was until some lovely friends of mine let me know they were ordering, and well, I couldn’t resist piggybacking on their order. Ahem.

Here’s the card I created using several of the stamps.

Marker Geek: Purple Onion Designs Falala Christmas Card

Stamps Used: Mistletoe Singing Penguin, Noel Singing Bear, Snowball Bunny Singing, Pine Tree Farm

I coloured the scene using a combination of Copic Markers and Polychromos pencils, with Distress Oxides for the sky. I do have a note of the colours I used somewhere…if I can find the note I will add the list to this post!

I used the Stamping Bella FALALA Sentiment die set to die cut the perfect sentiment for the card. It’s hard to see from the photo, but I also added some glitter here and there for a little festive sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by!

I hope you have enjoyed today’s post as much as I enjoyed creating it for you.
