Just a very quick post today to let you know that I’m still alive, just working hard on orders and behind the scenes stuff that I can’t share just yet!
I’d also like to remind you that my UK based online store Quixotic Paperie is closing on 31st May 2015.
The response to the sale so far has been fantastic, but I still have drawers to empty! There are lots of awesome stamping bargains to be had from some popular brands. The store will close on 31st May 2015, and all discounts currently shown are final.
Brands available include: Stamping Bella, SCACD Stamps, Tiddly Inks, Some Odd Girl, Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps, Make it Crafty, Impression Obsession, The Greeting Farm. Discounts range from 35% to a huge 60%. The full range can be found in THIS SECTION.
Recent releases can be found in THIS SECTION & THIS SECTION at 15% off.
Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend. I’ll be back as soon as I can with something colourful to share.
One of the reasons this blog has been fairly quiet lately is that during late March/early April I finally made a decision that had been playing on my mind for a while. Having made the decision, writing the announcement had then been hanging over me sapping my energy. So to say I have mixed feelings about this post is an understatement. There is sadness mixed with utter joy and tinged with apprehension. No wonder I haven’t really been in the mood to blog or create.

I hope you had a lovely Easter, whether you celebrated traditionally or like me just enjoyed the time off. We have had some beautiful weather here over the past week, so I’ve been enjoying the feeling of Spring arriving and all that entails mentally and emotionally. I’ve got lots to share with you during this particular season of change, but not quite yet!
The past week has also been a bit challenging due to a few health niggles resurfacing to challenge me. Nothing serious, just draining. Sadly it always seems to be my creativity and specifically my motivation to colour that suffer during these times. I missed the end of The Daily Marker 30 Day challenge because I just couldn’t face colouring and wasn’t really spending much time on the computer. I am pleased that I managed to colour for most of the 30 days though, and Kathy has announced that she will be hosting the challenge again in June! Check out Kathy’s “It’s a Wrap” post over on The Daily Marker for all the info. I’ve made a note in my diary and hopefully will manage at least as much colouring as I did the first time round, if not more!
I’m feeling better today, so will hopefully summon the motivation to edit a little video footage and type up some blog posts for you. I still have a number of Stamping Bella and other cards to share along with some colouring footage. Bear with me and there should be something fun to look at over here by the end of the week!
In the meantime, don’t forget that you can find me over on my Instagram feed, on Pinterest and of course there are a number of videos available for you over on my YouTube channel.
I’m still keeping up with the 30 Day Colouring Challenge, I just haven’t had time to blog over the past few days! I’ve been extremely busy sorting out my biggest ever sale over at Quixotic Paperie. If you want to see what colouring I’ve been up to in the past few days, hop on over to my Instagram feed!

Just a quick update post to let you know about some special offers from my online store Quixotic Paperie!
From now until midnight on 9th January 2015 (UK time), you can enjoy a fab 25% off the following stamp ranges:
That post title sounds quite ominous, doesn’t it? It isn’t intended that way. In a way, it’s actually quite positive.
You won’t find any creative inspiration in this post, just an explanation for my absence which will probably extend past the Christmas period.
Today I’ve got another Make it Crafty card and colouring video to share with you! I know, these colouring videos are like buses… 😉
A lot of people have asked me to create more colouring videos over the past few years. I’m now at a point where I am able to do more colouring and be able to shoot footage of that colouring. In order to be able to share videos along with the other colouring inspiration and information I have been posting, I am currently sharing “speed colouring” videos. These videos are sped up because I’m sure watching videos of me faffing with an image for over an hour might be more sleep inducing than inspiring. 😉 I’m not currently adding commentary to the videos, but I will do so in future, from time to time. In the meantime, I hope you will just enjoy checking out the colouring process.
Today is an exciting day for Stamping Bella fans. Behind the scenes I have been colouring images for the new release as Emily has completely overhauled the website and packaging! There has been a lot of work going on and I’d like to take this opportunity to say “CONGRATS!” to Em, also “I knew you could do it!”.
Just a quick post to let you know that there is a FLASH SALE going on over at Susana’s Custom Art & Card Design on the SCACD Digital Stamp range! All digital stamps are on offer at $2 USD each! The sale ends at 6am California time on Thursday 18th September 2014, so be quick.
Two new floral digital stamps have been added to the range today:
Make sure you grab a tea/coffee and have a good look through the range of digital stamp images, there’s definitely a little something for all tastes and at $2 each they are a steal!
I’ll be back with a new card very soon, hope you’re having a great week!
Hi folks! Just dropping by with a quick post today. My apologies for the lack of posts lately, there’s a lot going on behind the scenes at the moment including a possible house move. The things I have been working on craft-wise can’t be shared yet, so I haven’t had anything to post here. Don’t worry though, I’ll be back in action again very soon! 😉
Today I’d just like to share some news from my online store Quixotic Paperie.
Firstly I have some SPECIAL OFFERS to share. These are available until midnight on 18th June 2014 and apply to new orders and in stock items only. No codes required, the discount has already been applied to the product prices.
The latest stamp releases from Make it Crafty have just arrived in stock, including a special little fiery character available in rubber exclusively through Quixotic Paperie! All of the new stamps are including in the current 10% special offer.
You can pop on over to the store to see them all, but here’s a peek:
I have been a proud stockist of the Make it Crafty range since Zoe started selling rubber stamps, and am very happy to still have a fantastic range of the stamps in stock as well as the awesome Make it Colour Blending Card. I do also still have some stock of the Make it Crafty chipboard range, which is not currently in production, so stocks are limited.
Happy shopping and of course, happy crafting too!
