How exciting is this? Not only is today launch day for Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps, there’s also a blog hop to celebrate! I don’t think I can stand much more excitement.
Kimmie has some truly amazing ladies taking part in this hop, and I’m honoured to be among them. Can’t wait to check out all the fantastic projects.
Before I go on, I’d like to remind you all that if you’re in the UK/Europe, Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps will be available from my online store – Quixotic Paperie – from 9:00 am onwards (GMT +1). They are currently ready to ship straight away! If you are in the US/Canada, then you can grab the stamps direct from Kimmie’s store.
I have a special offer available at Quixotic Paperie to celebrate the launch of Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps, and you can read all about it here.
Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps are all deeply etched unmounted rubber. There are currently two lines: Crissy’s Cuties by Crissy Armstrong and Moonlight Whispers by Annie Rodrigue. There is also a fantastic sentiment set with over 30 fun everyday phrases, designed by my fellow Krafty Girl – Jeanne Streiff!
If you’ve hopped over here from Linda’s blog – Heavens Created This – then you’re on the right track. If not, you need to go back and start at Kimmie’s blog – Kraftin’ Kimmie’s Corner.
You will want to follow the hop, as Kimmie has a fabulous prize available which will be drawn at random from all the comments along the hop – the more blogs you comment on, the more chance you have of winning the prize!
Without further ado, here’s my card!
I’ve used one of Annie Rodrigue’s fantastic images – Lillith – isn’t she brilliant? I’ll say it again – LOVE these images! Do go and check out Annie’s artwork on her website, I particularly love her Alice illustrations. Michele Boyer summed Annie’s images up brilliantly in this post. They’re a little bit twisty and I love that!
Lillith has been coloured with Copics, a list of which you will find below. I’ve accented the image with Shimmerz paints available here.
I’ve gone slightly simpler for this design and *shock horror* used no designer paper! Just coloured cardstock, and embellishments. The 3mm crystals are from one of the Bazzill self adhesive packs available here and the black pearl decoration is from one of the Prima Say it in Pearls packs available here. The black crochet lace is available here.
You’ll notice that to apply the 3mm crystals I got out my Bazzill Jewel Templates again! This particular template is from the Borders set. I couldn’t stay away from them for long! The templates are all available here.
The next blog on the hop is none other than the fabulous Crissy Armstrong, illustrator of the Crissy’s Cuties range!
Please feel free to grab the blinkie above for your blog’s sidebar! Isn’t it adorable? If you need help adding it to your sidebar, just let me know.
