Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge #2 – Use Your Buttons!

Today is the start of a new Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps Challenge!  This is just our second challenge, and it was fantastic to see lots of people playing along last week.  I know lots more of you now have your inky fingers on at least one or two Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps, so please join in and play along!  Even if you have yet to acquire any of these fab stamps, you can still play along for the chance to win one.  No excuses!

*** Those of you in the UK – remember that you can grab your Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps HERE at Quixotic Paperie. ***

Jeanne set the challenge this week – she wants everyone to USE YOUR BUTTONS.  Should be nice and easy!  If you’re anything like me, no doubt you have at least one or two buttons hanging around.

This time I’ve chosen to use one of the adorable stamps from the Crissy’s Cuties range designed by Crissy Armstrong - ROXY & BERNICE.  Crissy’s designs are always super cute, and LOTS of fun to colour.  I’m usually a little daunted by the prospect of colouring fur, but these two were a breeze to bring to life.

As you can see, I’ve gone with the rich autumnal colours of the gorgeous INDIAN SUMMER pad by Basic Grey.  As soon as these arrived here, I couldn’t resist sneaking a pad off to my craftroom and stroking it!

I’ve also gone a little SHIMMERZ crazy again.  Seriously, these paints are addictive.  I find myself reaching for them every single day.  On this card, I spritzed the Kraft cardstock for the layers and tag with PLUM PUDDING and then when I distressed the edges of the papers and cardstock, I lightly brushed them with some BLINGZ GOLD GLIMMER.  Yum!

I followed the layout from Carole’s fab sketch for this week’s Friday Sketchers Challenge.  Quixotic Paperie is this week’s sponsor, so make sure you join in for the chance to win a £10 gift voucher to spend in the store!

That’s all for today.  I’m looking forward to checking out all your creations for this challenge, so get cracking and dig out those buttons! *grin*
