Time for another Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps Challenge! I’m a little late with this one, not least because I started making a card for the wrong challenge… D’oh!
Anyway, this week’s challenge has been set by the lovely Diana, and she is asking to see ripping/tearing on everyone’s projects! If you use a Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps image on your projects, you could win the fab Emelia stamp Diana has used on her card!
This week I’ve chosen to use one of Crissy Armstrong’s gorgeous fairy images – Bird Fairy. I’ve also CASE’d Crissy for the colouring, as you can see! I love the dotty technique she uses for her backgrounds, so I wanted to practice that. I think it turned out okay! You can check out Crissy’s gorgeous Bird Fairy card HERE with some instructions on the background technique.
Crissy’s Bird Fairy stamp is also available HERE at Quixotic Paperie.
I’ve gone for a very simple look, because the image is just so beautiful and detailed, I wanted it to remain the main focus of the card. The papers are Basic Grey Eva, I’ve distressed the edges with an SU tool, and the self adhesive crystals (available HERE) have been applied using Bazzill Basics Squeezers (available HERE) and a Bazzill Basics Jewel Template (available HERE).
Copic colours used:
Skin: E000, E00, E02, E11, E04, R02, R20 Hair: Y21, Y26, Y28
Dress & Shoes: BG93, BG96, BG99, R0000, R21, R85, R89
Bird: B91, B93, B95, B97, E30, E31, YR65, YR68
That’s all from me! Please do pop on over to the Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps challenge blog and check out the rest of the DT creations, they are fantastic as always!

Your coloring technique is beautiful. If you don’t have the copics, is there something else you could use? I color with prismacolor pencils. Thanks for sharing your technique.
I was also wanting to know what font you have used for your logo. It is really gorgeous.
Thanks,
[…] it turns out, I actually unwittingly CASE’d myself on this one – see my Bird Fairy card HERE. I wondered why I was getting a sense of deja-vu while layering up the papers! […]
