Happy Birthday Wendy!

Today is Wendy Bond‘s birthday, and a group of us, organised by the lovely Karen Motz got together to put on a little celebratory blog hop!

I was hunting for an image to play with, and this one jumped out at me from my folder – a TGF digi that I had printed but never coloured.  Thought it was about time she came to life!

The gorgeous sentiment is from the Stempelglede “Just a Note” set.  I finally nabbed one for myself, and have it all mounted up, so you can expect to see it popping up regularly – I LOVE it.

Coloured with Copics, of course.  I had planned on making her a brunette, but when I decided on the colour scheme, somehow she just had to be a blonde.

I added a little sparkle to various details with my Sakura Clear Stardust pen.  The bow was of course tied using the Bow-Easy. Papers are the delicious Echo Park – Be Mine.
