The sun finally decided to reappear down here in Dorset today.  I wonder how long that will last!

In light of that (hah!), today’s card seems rather appropriate.  Whimsy Frog sitting on his lilypad brings to mind lovely, lazy summer days.

Quixotic Paperie - Whimsy Stamps - Whimsy Frog - Card

I’ve actually had this image coloured and cut out for a while.  When Denise from Whimsy Stamps sent me my Guest Designer package, he was one of the first images I wanted to use.  He has to be one of my absolute favourite frog images, ever.

Whimsy Frog has been coloured in Copics, a list of which can be found at the end of the post.

Quixotic Paperie - Whimsy Stamps - Whimsy Frog - Card Detail

The papers used are from the rather lovely and appropriately titled DCWV “Garden Whimsy” Stack.  The flowers are from one of the gorgeous Petaloo Dahlia Box Blends, and I have attached the flower and bee charm using one of the Jewel Brads.

Whimsy Stamps are available in the UK from Quixotic Paperie.  We have a great selection available, including the Whimsy Kids collection.  The stamps come beautifully packaged on a laminate card showing the image, perfect for easy storage.

Over the next week, I will be showcasing some more of the fantastic images from this company, so watch this space for more Whimsy fun!

I’d also like to bring your attention to the fact that Quixotic Paperie is sponsoring this week’s Stamp Something challenge, which is to use charms on your projects.  Join in for the chance to win a a voucher to spend on lovely stash in the online shop!

Finally, a couple of lovely bloggers have sent me awards this week:

Kadie gave me this lovely award on her fab blog “In My Mind’s Eye”.  Thank you Kadie!  Make sure you stop by her blog and take a peek at her work, she’s rather inspirational herself!

I don’t usually pass these awards on, as I have such difficulty choosing from all the inspiring and wonderful blogs I visit.  But I’m making an exception today!  I’d like to pass this one on to the following ladies (in no particular order), with their oh so inspirational blogs!

I could go on, but I’ll leave it there!  These are just some of the many, many bloggers who have inspired me over the last year or more.

The second award I received is from Sylvia-Anne of Poppy’s Papercraft Patch – pop over and check out her lovely creations!  Thank you Sylvia!
