I’ve been meaning to play with the gorgeous Amy R Stamps Butterfly set from C.C. Designs for weeks.  This week’s Sketch Saturday challenge seemed like the perfect opportunity. 

The sketch is perfect for presenting a wording stamp as a focal point, something I haven’t done for ages.  It made quite a nice change from my usual cute images.

Quixotic Paperie - Amy R Stamps - Butterfly Set - Card

The beautiful quotation has been stamped and embossed, and cut out using oval Nestabilities, and airbrushed.  The butterfly has been stamped, coloured with Copics, cut out and popped up on foam pads.

The flowers are from the Stampin’ Up Paper Pretties kit, and I’ve airbrushed them with Copic Markers, then covered in gorgeous Shimmerz Paints (Jilted Jade and Bubblegum). 

I’ve used some of the fabulous papers from the My Mind’s Eye Ooh La La For Her 12×12 pack.  Such yummy colours.
