Today is the very first Quixotic Paperie DT Mini Challenge! 

We will be having these mini challenges each month, showing off some of the stamps and stash available at Quixotic Paperie, and how they can be used in a variety of ways and in a variety of different styles.

For our first challenge, the DT and I have been playing with one of the gorgeous Beautiful Day Fairies from Paper Makeup Stamps – Shaela Fairy – available here at Quixotic Paperie. 

My card is loosely based on this week’s Sketch Saturday challenge.  I’m not entirely happy with it, as it didn’t turn out at all like the vision in my head (all too often the case).  The image is gorgeous though, and I loved colouring her.

Papers are from the gorgeous My Mind’s Eye “Pretty Please” 12×12 paper and accessory pack. The crystal swirls have been created (yes you guessed it) using a Bazzill Basics Jewel Template – Flowers & Flourishes.

Quixotic Paperie: Paper Makeup Stamps - Shaela Fairy Card Detail

Shaela has been coloured with Copics (list below) and accented with Shimmerz Pixie Dust.  The edges of the cardstock have also been covered with Shimmerz Pixie Dust.  Lots of sparkle on this one!
